There is no sense in hiding the fact that some people are starting to get a little antsy about the whereabouts ofThe Elder Scrolls 6. WithSkyrimcoming out towards the latter parts of 2011, andBethesda currently marketing its upcoming sci-fi gameStarfield, it feels like news about the next in the epic RPG series is long overdue, but doesn’t seem to be forthcoming. Given how long it’s been since the last installment, it’s understandable that fans may be getting a little impatient, and while frustration may be the general feeling, this one person seems to be making the most of the long wait.

A Reddit user, and no doubtSkyrimfan, who goes by the alias Shankface has made it their mission to upload a new image every day until the release of the nextElder Scrollstitle. But the images are not passive-aggressive in any way. In fact, some of them are downright glorious and really show that the decade-old game can still look pretty spectacular.

At the time of writing, Shankface is currently on day 35, with the latest screenshot showing a close-up ofSkyrim’s vampire companion Serana, and being credited to user TheAlfredValentine. The previous image, labeled as “On this day, I go to Sovngarde,” shows an unfortunate soul about to be executed in Riften. There’s also a spectacularly moody image on day 33 which shows the interior of the Blue Palace. Some of these screenshots could easily be used as desktop wallpapers.

This user is also not the first person to be engaging in some sort of protest, although admittedly a nice one, when it comes to the next game. For the past 140 days, user Sidek has been uploading videos to YouTube which shows themkilling Nazeem every day untilThe Elder Scrolls 6is released. This one shows there is a mite more anger in the player, perhaps one who is sick of Bethesda remaining silent about things.

WithThe Elder Scrolls 6 apparently still in pre-production, there’s a good chance that fans will be waiting for a while before the game finally hits shelves. With that in-mind, users like Shankface and Sidek may be spending a long time uploading content before the game arrives. At least in the former’s case, they are enacting more of a peaceful protest.
